To honor God by assisting Christian schools in equipping students to be champions for Christ through statewide athletic and academic competitions.
Vision Statement:
The main purposes of the Arkansas Association of Christians Schools are to:
- Honor God
- Assist Christian schools
- Equip Students
- Develop champions
- Promote athletic and academic excellence
In order to achieve these goals, the AACS will:
- Put God first through prayer and application of scripture
- Assist Christian schools by providing opportunities to grow spiritually and professionally through workshops, interaction, and competition
- Assist students by helping them to develop a Christ-like character through spiritual, mental, and physical activities
- Strive to develop champions by instilling in students a passion for excellence while promoting a spirit of fair play, fellowship, and sportsmanship
- Strive to promote athletic and academic excellence by providing organized and high quality competition
Becoming a member of AACS
Step #1 -Download application & submit to the AACS board
a)Â Â Â Â Â Fill out application & print it
b)Â Â Â Â Â Send application to the school of the current AACS President
(By: mail -or- scan & email — no fax please)
Step#2 –Board votes on new member school
—Once the application is received…
a)Â Â Â Â Â The board will check the references
b)Â Â Â Â Â Vote –To become a member you must receive 4 votes from the 5 board members
Step#3 –New Member school Read AACS handbook & sign/send in AACS contract
a)Â Â Â Â Â All new member schools will be on probation the first year (see rules section in handbook)
